Aston just needs to adopt a dual clutch tranny to help their paddle shifters, they seriously have the worst out of all the luxury super cars out there, in the case of Vantage at least. They supposedly improved it on the new models coming out this year but it still isn't dual clutch so my hopes aren't that high.

Would not concern me, if I had the luxury of buying an Aston Martin it would be a 6-Speed manual... I don't care if a dual clutch is faster or more advance. 6-Speed manual with a clutch brings me the most joy.

Yeah but most Astons I see have the paddle shifters, it really isn't a true auto either because shit is rough on stop and go traffic. Also, I think some Astons doesn't come with the manual tranny anymore either. I think the new Zagato only comes with an auto-manual tranny. So if they are going to go that route, it might as well be good.

i agree with you to an extent about old school, but that 79' 512 and all the other Ferraris in the '308 family' are some of the worst looking Ferraris they've made IMO. but there's no accounting for differences in taste. i do dig the dual clamshell, though.

I admit to liking the 328gts. I keep seeing a red one in Ohio City, near Cleveland, in red, naturally -- though the one I once saw in dark blue over saddle was really stunning. White cars are just, ugh.

I think there really has something to do with being of the car-fascinated age when that series of cars were new. A 328 or a Testarossa (or their Lambo counterparts) was such a complete departure from everything else on the road that they made lasting impressions which may or may not be objectively reasonable. I also remember seeing a DB7 and being completely mystified.

I think it's interesting, loved the convertible. But I been wanting to see the interior in person.

For around $200k, it's definitely one car to consider in that range.

I like the interior, very nice, clean, tight and simple.

It looks simple and nice, yes. But I hope it's quality to the touche. Such as the center/radio surround being metal and not painted plastic... The interiors on a lot of Merc don't impress me in quality.

This one is top notch, their AMG models tends to be on a different level. Those are real metal trims and can be covered in real CF too as an option. It also comes with a Bang & Olufsen system if your liek Clrakson and love that sort of thing.
