    ...? ok?

I just don't want to take out a loan. I've got money saved up and would prefer. A car hasn't really been my priority (and still isn't, really).

    Constructive comments only, please.

i have really never taken out a loan for more than inflation rate...
which makes paying in cash technically obsolete

Wrong. You pay in cash then you own the car. When you loose your job, decide to join the circus or get a mortgage you have assets and no debt. Take out a loan, even at 0% you still have debt and no assets. Debt is only acceptable if your financial situation is unlikely to change over the course of the debt. As a young person in a flux economy anything like a 3 to 5 year certainty is pretty damn rare.

In the US you guys dont have number plates infront of the car? Here it's a law to have it both on the front and back (must show)

We do, some just choose not to mount it. In California, it's a fix it up ticket if the cop felt like stopping you for it.

Great car though, double the mileage of my Explorer, and 40+ more hp. I'm zooming all over Houston now doing 90 when I can.

+1. Front plates aren't required in Indiana, for example.

So it's from state to state. Well I rather not have anything at front either (looks much nicer)

If I did have to have front plates, I'd prefer the narrow but longer euro style ones.

No front plates in Florida either. I know some states only require trucks to have front plates and not cars (Kansas I am pretty sure).
