Great classic... what's the wood rack thing in the back for?

    Thanks

It's a decklid rack, we use it for a big wicker picnic hamper, although can be used for a large suitcase etc.

Tom - right? Yes, it's the Space Gray. I went in thinking I would go for Black & then this just jumped out at me. Something about the metallic which really glitters in the sun.

    I have SG too. [IMG]

What about insurance? Many companies will cancel policies if cars are tracked.

I'm pretty sure I'm not covered while on the track

something we potter about in at the weekends...... [IMG]
Beautiful bug! I love aircooled VWs.
I think I can nab the prize for slowest car in the thread. Our 93hp A160. [IMG] [IMG]
I have you beat [IMG] 74 hp stock in my summer/nice weather driver: 1981 VW Scirocco Though it isn't the most powerful car out there, it still sure is fun to drive and handles better than a lot of cars I've driven. [IMG] Daily is a '01 Volvo S60 T5 [IMG]

    I have you beat [IMG]

I think the title goes to my 70hp Smart Fortwo - 0 - 60 is 13.5sec, around 3x as slow as my (modded) Z4 M Coupe.

Some amazing Bugattis at Pebble Beach last weekend. You should check it out.

Optical illusion or does that rear wheel have a tad bit of negative camber?

I think you and I are going to have to share this one. My A-class is also a 13.5 sec to 60 vehicle, while Nataku's Scirocco does a claimed 11.1 sec (when new).

Fatmod, that looks like a blast. I love the paint.

The power difference is noticeable between the two, but still the S430 is no slouch.
