Totally would.
James may bought one. You can't really get a better endorsement.

But seriously.... MR-S?
Nobody has a better offer?

The Boxster GTS 4.0 was and still is a great looking car. Seems you can have one in the US for around $50K which seems like a great deal.

At what point is mileage an issue on a Porsche? Seems like quality must be great because I see a ton of older Panamera and Cayenne and would think the owners of those may not be as picky as 911 owners.

Peak Porsche? Companies seem to either be going EV/hybrid or gas guzzling shithouse V8. It’s 10 seconds faster than the Urus around the ring and 4 seconds faster than the M2CS.

I guess if you want to smoke the other soccer moms then this is the car for you.

Thank you for your suggestions. I am def. into GT cars. I am not an enthusiast and would prefer powerfull GT. Probably would go with Porsche Cayman as they are pretty cheap and have nice 300+ power.
Any factors I should consider regarding Cayman?

@Dino944 pretty much nailed it. Buy a 981 Cayman S and call it a day.

Can't remember if I shared or not, but the other week we went to the track for a private event using the track's cars. Got to drive a Cayman S, Alfa 4C, and a bunch of other cars.

I was chomping at the bit to get behind the wheel of the 4C, and it turned out to be the biggest disappointment of the bunch. On/off boost (which I hate). Intrusive TC. Overall just not an impressive car.

The Cayman S on the other hand? I was floored at how good it was (and we're talking about a beat-to-piss, 100k mile track beater here). Good looks. Perfectly balanced. Enough power.

The only drawback of the Cayman (981 and 718) is I find the cabin to be quite cramped and claustrophobic. So much so that I'm not sure I could drive one for any extended period of time. YMMV.

Good luck.

I wonder if there is a relaible way to tell if the car was a weekend cruiser vs. a track car. What are the tell tale signs? I know how to avoid repaint or accident cars as my family was in a car buisness, but I am not familiar at all with wear that is specific to competition cars.. I would def. want to avoid the track car.
