Neighbor just sold his Hyundai for what he bought it new two years ago. A couple other guys I went riding with today claim they sold their used cars at a profit.

Car's black and 3 years old. The ghost pinstripe might not be terrible. Maybe I'll try to take a tiny bit off and see what it looks like.

It's weird having a nice car again. I went full ADHD and spent 3 hours detailing it this weekend.

A black car likely has paints swirls. If you do a full correction after removing, you may get lucky and it not be noticeable.

I just checked my wife's 2016 Wrangler at Vroom, it's $3000 more than we paid in 2018. The worst part is I used a burner email address, fake name, etc. I'm now getting Vroom marketing emails on my real email address.

I think I got lucky with the rav4 I bought. Still a bit more expensive than it would have been a year or two ago, by maybe 1-2k.... but compared to everything else right now it was a solid buy.

Ehhh just looked up listings and it looks like it was in the lower end of the current going rate. Whatever. I'm happy lol.

Added Volvo's own cargo box to my XC90 today in prep for excursions with more gear this year.

My first ever experience with adding cross bars, cargo boxes, etc. Very glad how it all turned out.

I sold a barebones, 10 year old midsize pickup (4x4, crew cab) with ~90k miles last Feb. for ~40% of MSRP (don't remember what I paid for). I wonder how the selling/buying transaction would've played out had I waited a bit more, though I got about 2k more than I expected for the trade in so thankfully no buyers remorse.
