You got to get SF approved driving shoes as well.

you haven't been to the west coast or Asia? I've seen a Japanese girl on a hello kitty cell phone driving a 993 GT2 with centerlocks, in traffic. Cars are just cars.

Most of the kids don't afford them, their parents do. At least the ones who went to my high school and college.

There was a guy with the slightly brighter (Nogaro) blue S4 on my college campus. Another kid had a 996 Turbo in Navy....that was truly sweet.

The RS4 is a bit more grown up car than say the Evo or STi, but Audi still offers some pretty adolescent colors for it in my opinion.

If you had a few hundreds or thousands of dollars to throw around and have a lot of free time, how many would do this?
Get a black Lambo and drive around in a Batman suit.

I'd totally do it in the Aventador.

Also, those are from two different incidents. The first and last from obstructed plates and the middle from a break down or flat.

yeah, i know what you mean...
my school had kids with RS4s and M5s too...
I know a white kid who drives an R8 ...
kind of makes you go... :plain:

but i just saw an RS4 in light blue today on the highway, yeah it looks pretty eye catchy, but then remember when BMW did Laguna Seca blue and the Phoenix yellow with the E46 M3s? same kind of deal i suppose?

what kind of rich dad would put his daughter in a 993, nevertheless GT2?
i test drove a 993 during my search (just for shit and giggles, and obviously to see what the fuss is all about with the "last real Porsche") and it was probably the worst car ive ever driven.
jump out of the 993, into the 997.2 C2S on the other hand... :inlove:

You actually think a Japanese girl on a hello kitty cell phone gives a shit about how a car drives?

you obviously never drove a 993...
its not a modern car, aka no luxury features, no modern features, the interior was as ugly as patrick ewing's face, the clutch was ridiculously heavy, steering was bullshit to the least, brakes have basically 2 modes, ON - your face gets ripped off, or OFF, there is no modulation.
from my few years of owning high performance cars, i owned an M roadster for fucks sake (pretty much as spartan as i'd go), and i'd never try to play with a 993.
i mean it gives you a sense of how old school racing drivers drove such cars - appreciation for their bravery and skill...
but if i was a girl with a hello kitty cell phone, id never drive it as my first, second, nor third choice.
the dad's automotive collection must have all been broken and she could not have called a taxi/limo that day

So fucked up that parent let their 16-18 year old drive cars, like that and sprint blue is a bit loud and most people over a certain age would probably avoid it.

Maybe I should move to Asia and find a cute girl with rich parents [IMG]

i bought myself a 350z (25500 out the door) when i was 18 years old by bussing tables and working during school year
that was ... 8 years ago
but there is absolutely no way 18 year olds can afford RS4s (45,000 and up preowned) and M6s ($45-50000 and up preowned) on their own, thats for sure, unless they are slinging drugs or developing serious apps on the app store

I gave her a look, I don't think it was her dad's car. Perhaps someone she calls 'daddy' though...

Still, whether it's a good thing or not, I think it's fairly normal to see Asian or ethnic high school kids driving around in a Mercedes or BMW in certain urban areas nowadays. Wasn't the case when I was a kid, but I digress...

+1, this is commonplace in Vancouver. There's tons of nice cars regularly, in my garage; SLS, Gallardo Balboni, Panamera, all driven by Chinese kids no older than 30.
