Reps will say anything to sell their product ;)

The only BBS problems I know of are financial, but besides that I would buy anything from them without blinking, they deliver wheels to Ferrari's F1 team, which is pretty much one of the best motorsport reference's you can have.

The word gold mine comes to mind, that for sure, I would love to go somewhere like that.

I actually don't know where they are made, but I wouldn't be surprised if they are made some where in Asia, as BBS has a whole line of Japan only wheels Super RS etc.

I didn't compare them, it a reference for what you can get on ebay, Carlsson is pretty reputable MB tuner, so they aren't that bad.

The wheels I had were closed front, so they were a style choice and for going around a racetrack etc.

Ccw are not good or at least that's what I knew unless things have changed, hre neither but their one pieces are different. I like the RNRs, a classic wheel that later got knocked off by chinese reps all day.

The best bbs are made in japan since that's where the premier forging factories are. LM remains my favorite wheel of all time.

Love the BBS LM-R but if I were to choose, I'd probably go for RGR OR RS-GT.

What about Rays/Volk? Not as good looking as BBS but some do look great M3s too.

Volk are nice but I think they cheapen the look of the M3. Never like them on European cars that much, the novelty wears off after a bit.

God I fucking hate volks on m3s, even worse are mouth breathers in socal who jdm their bmws. TEs and LEs are some of the most heinous rims known to man next to ssr gt3s that everyone and their mom had back in the day.

Volks are quintessential JDM but I think the VR.G2 or G12s would look good with an M3. TEs and LEs aren't bad on the right cars but they do feel really dated and played out these days.

Even being the epicenter of the car culture there are very few tastefully modded cars out there.

187: do you live in america?
jet: you drive an e46 m3, right?

That's the color of the GTS also, which maybe why people do that specific color.
