Not sure why but somehow this looked a lot better, must be dark color with shadow trim hide the grill somewhat...

That's an easy call for me. The Panamera. I actually like the Panamera styling (I know I'm in the minority). The proportions of the GT63 4 door look off to me. If it was the 2 door, I'd probably lean towards that. So I'd happily drive a Panamera and have $25k to do whatever I wanted.

Probably because the GT63 is a weird looking car. The design just doesn’t look right trying to be a 4 door coupe. The E63 AMG looks much better because it’s a 4 door sedan designed to look like a 4 door sedan.

If I’m not constrained by my wife I would probably get 850 gran coupe as a “don’t really need large trunk space that often” 4 door...

E63 looks better and is a better sedan, GT63 is a better sports car. It has rear wheel steering.

The newer Panamera looks good now.

One of the partners in my group drives a M850 and it’s hideous in real life. I’m done with BMWs **** styling with the new 3, 4, 8 and Z4
I don’t understand the need for a 4 door sports car though. If I were going to get an AMG sports car it would be one of the AMG GT variants not the GT63.

No longer need a big SUV but will still have a kid in the back occasionally on a 4-hour drive.

E63 is the right choice. E63 wagon is the most right choice. Just no poverty-spec black dash over tan leather please :)

After all, the great joy and unique appeal of a super powerful Mercedes sedan is that it looks mostly like any other Mercedes sedan. Few other cars on the road exude such immense yet understated confidence. Plus, the current E-class is already one of the prettiest sedans available, regardless of price.

The GT63 sedan, in contrast and in SF-speak, is too “try hard”. It is a cool car, but not very Mercedes-Benz.

Panamera? Not as good looking as either.

E63 is definitely a good choice, I have seen 850 GC in person I like it actually...
