And speaking of SL, I think the best modern looking ones are the pre face lift RL230

My beloved Jeep Rubicon sat for so long, the battery died. No problem, I have a charger. Charged it up, turned the key and.......nothing. Looks like covid got to the starter motor, which is how I'll spend my day today.
Watched a couple videos, so what could go wrong?

That coincidentally was my outcome on my 12 year Civic Si two months ago. First time I needed a new starter. So my bill jumped from $170 (battery) to just under $800. I was so pissed, but now she starts up like a dream.

OUCH!
I don't know the location on your car, but on the Jeep it's not too bad. Installation is supposed to take less than 1/2 an hour with normal tools.
If I went to the dealership, I'd be in the same boat.

I’m not a wrench so I went to a local shop, actually needed a tow. There are some things I am comfortable doing on my car apart from detailing, but that is not one of them. More power to ya though!

2006 Rubicon Unlimited. Last of the straight 6.
I baby that thing to a stupid degree. People still think it's new.
I have less than 100K on it. Living near the beach though, stuff corrodes.

Just got a survey from BMW, basically the question is like how I would feel if 540 become 4 cylinder plug in hybrid...

It’s multi questioned actually, first ask if you still own your vehicle and if you know how many cylinder there are then go on about next vehicle (with all the options like full electric/plug in hybrid/gas) then go on about if you would purchase if it becomes a 4 cylinder and a bit slower etc then says would be interested in plug in hybrid etc
