So 4 cylinder 718's should be dropping like a rock even more in the US.

Porsche taking a page out of McLarens book by completely screwing current gen owners by releasing a vastly superior model with no prior notice.

The shop that tuned my GT4 is now boring and stroking the 981’s out to 4.25 liters. Another guy in Jersey offers a 4.5 upgrade. I feel like those options give us 981 owners some future proofing against the 718 even with the latter getting 4.0’s. the 718’s don’t fix the tall gearing anyway, so there’s no reason to pay the much steeper upgrade price, other than maybe a little bit of aero improvement. The price increase of the 718 GT4 is just about big enough to pay for the 981 bore/stroker kit plus regearing...without even accounting for the fact that i already own the 981, and keeping a paid-for car is the better financial option.

Anyway, just some further musings about the N/A 718 announcements. Good to see there’s at least one automaker out there that’s listening closely to enthusiasts.

I was trying to piece together how that crash happened, but got distracted wondering why the woman behind the police car is wearing a plastic bag on her head.

I know it’s raining, but....that was your best option??

probably rained unexpectedly, when I was a kid that's definitely what I would have done...

Aha...one of the first things i thought was, wow, that glass roof is intact despite an SUV rolling over it. Impressive to be sure, but i then had to laugh at Teslarati hyperbole like “thanks to the hard work and brilliant design of Tesla and Elon Musk...”

I wonder if there is a SF-approved version of this item...
