I drove a CVT for 8 years before going back to a 7 speed auto. Sometimes I think the shifts feel weird.

Why do you need to feel the shift though?

I love the "no shifts" on our Chevy Bolt. I wish I could have back all the seconds lost over the years wasted on the hiccup of a shift on all automatics and all the time wasted on rowing through gears on all the standards I've owned. The monotonous drone of engines repeating the same power band in each of the gears is gone too, of course.
It was a huge surprise at how quickly the car gets down the road because of all that lost repetetive shifting and revving. If a manufacturer wanted to sell a bunch of their electric cars, all they'd have to do would be to drop them on some street corners like those stupid electric scooters and let people try them. Let them get a few free tries after they downloaded an app to their phone, or something; the drive experience would sell them.

I can’t believe Lando made it to Q3.

Do you guys like orange McLarens or green McLarens? Starting to cautiously dip my toe in 570 waters...

Of the two I prefer orange to green McLarens. Napier or Mantis Green are to loud for me.

I think the darker colours like Cobalt, Onyx suit the car better though.

XP Green is pretty cool but is it possible on a 570?

    Pearl white?

Of the 2, prefer safety orange.

I'd say orange. The only car I can currently think of that looks good in bright green is the GT3 RS.

I have to go with green, because orange is my least favorite color. Also, between all the orange Lambos, GT3s, and Lotuses I've seen in recent years I find it sort of tiresome at this point.
