So checked a few dealers on 540i xdrive, got pretty decent px, was looking at all cash, though also checked lease, is 61% residual for 10,000 per year for 3 years pretty good?

    Woooohoooooooo!

Still needs exhaust and new wheels installed, and hasn't been detailed and PPF'ed yet, but too excited not to snap some shots.

Looks freaking awesome. I knew it would work out!

I thought the painted ac vent slats was the riskiest move with your interior (even though I know you were more concerned with the steering wheel), but it comes together beautifully. I think it’s all about the color - ive seen viper green and yellow vent slats and they ruin the entire look of the interior

Thanks guys—glad you like the interior. Lots of risky, conceptual decisions that fortunately didn’t add up to a disaster in reality.

Have to say, the stock exhaust sounds pretty freaking good and already fairly loud. The Akra may turn out to be overkill . . .

i thought full straight-pipe was overkill too, if that's what you were going to do. i can't remember now.

but at the very least still do the center bypass. that will upgrade "pretty freaking good" to "glorious".

I think the yellow calipers are drawing too much attention. I would have preferred something with a little less pop because the rest of the lines (and the wheels/brakes for that matter) are so nice. A minor criticism on an otherwise amazing car.

Too late. Already bought the race header set that deletes the side mufflers. It’s okay—I’m down for it.

    Thank you, good sir.

Porsche says you can have red (standard iron brakes) or yellow (ceramic). The red with Miami Blue is hideous, in my opinion.

    Looks amazing--congrats!

And I'm willing to bet $1,000 that straight pipes will be too loud and you'll switch to another system inside of 6 months.
