Sounds exactly like you guys haven't driven here at all. You can't be driving 50mph and quick swerve to the right or left to avoid 3 feet wide potholes. Half the time you can't even hit the brake because idiots here tailgate like crazy.

First lowered car? Hah! Dude I know you're baller and older than me, but trust me, I've had way more lowered cars than you. My first car was a 90's Corolla I got from my parent when I was 16, my friends and I cut the stock spring on those and gave me the most spine crushing ride ever but shit looks good even with it's cheap 16" rims. Ever since then, every vehicle I've had has been lowered except for the Lexus. I even had some air shocks suspension at one point. :embar:

most people are issued a company car that the employer leased. it's under the employer's name, and includes all maintenance, gas (presumption is its used primarily for work), repairs, etc.

i get a taxable monthly flat rate reimbursement for a car... any car with 4drs below certain age. could be existing car. new purchase. new leased. anything. in addition, i expense out mileage which gets reimbursed tax-free at IRS rates. mileage is calculated as the R/T distance from base office to anywhere for work-related purposes, e.g. meetings.

don't go too low, imo looks cheesey
go with Eibachs or H & R, whichever is the least drop, both are TUV approved for use with oem shocks
my RS4 has H&R and is lowered only F/R 0.6/0.5 as measured spec is 0.7/0.6, you wouldn't think it is noticeable, but it is
also, you might consider spacers, just small ones, no rubbing, 5 to 8 mm max, hubcentric

the 18's look good to me, consider, more tire to absorb impact/protect rim, and smooth ride, and tires are cheaper

I'm still leaning with the Eibachs right now, just need to confirm that it will work with the new 28i engine.

But speaking of slammed, low and slow...

Each to his own but that lowered shit always perplexed me. Then again, that raised shit always perplexed me too.

Cars aren't usually raised, they're just stock, well in my case anyways.

And yeah I like car stances, especially when done right but that vid is ridiculous. I seriously do not get the whole point of it, whoever get the most scrapes wins or something?

Rfx if I were you I'd just stick to stock height there is nothing worse than a pussy drop as we call it like the rs4 above.

RFX, you notice I drive big SUVs? Rovers, MB GLs, and now looking at the QX? I think maybe when I was talking about raised it might not have had to do with cars. ;)
