1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    You can buy a 650 HP LS7 for $18.5K:

    http://www.enginefactory.com/ls7_650hpfi.htm

That is for a brand new engine, lightly modified from the factory. There are more powerful versions for slightly more money. $19.5K gets you 700 HP, normally aspirated.

You'd have better traction if the Cayman were AWD. ;)

It's roadster season again, so I traded the Fiat 500 in on a Boxster S. :)

987? Or ordered the new one?

Been enjoying the Z4 the past few days that's been warm here in Cali.

A 987. I'm not a big fan of the new one, really.

I was a fan of the 987, but the 981 is a great looking vehicle.

The new one actually sort of motivated the purchase - it made me want to drive an 987 before they are all beat to hell. :) I see what they're going for with the design cues, but the shape is just off to me. That said, I haven't seen one in the metal yet though I was in the dealership yesterday, but I an not optimistic, as the Panamera hasn't grown on my yet.

You can't even compare the Panamera and Boxster, I hate soft top convertibles but I'd take it over the Panamera anytime. The Cayman should look great.

FR-S US price finally announced, really considering one for the track or an E46 M3.

Hate might be a strong word, I personally would not drive one, even an R8 or Vantage. Loud and just invites vandals to slice through em. Hard top convertibles I love, so glad the 458 Italia went that route.

for me, it's just the other way round. nothing wrong with the 458, though.

The E92 convertible and the G37 convertible are some of the worst offenders, they really should've done softtops on those. They look like jigsaw puzzles if the car is white or silver.

I don't think the E92 is that bad but yeah in like color, all those cracks makes it uglier. Still better than the Lexus IS though, last I check, they don't even have pic of it with the top up on Lexus.com.

was the exact image I had in mind when I posted that. It's so bad. I don't like the Lexus one either, looks awkward and elongates the rear. The ferraris looks nice though, but they obviously had to make it look nice because theyre 300+ lol

^^^+1. I rarely see hard top convertibles that I think look good.
