There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

The M button on the steering wheel activates all 10 cylinders.

Is it just me or is the M3 tied for #1 douche-mobile in the universe with the G35?

honestly i put the 335 in far douchier territory simply on the demographic that owns it around here. M3 here is for young business men.

    Are you drunk already?

I don't think it has the perception of being the #1 douche-mobile but you can't deny it is an excellent car (then again, you drive SUVs so you probably don't care too much for spirited driving with fun handling dynamics).

    But I appreciate the jab!

Just because you're a young business man does not mean you are not a douche. ;)

I was going to put, "No hate on Frog" in my post as it was not really aimed at you. Douche does not have an age limit on it, and seriously, the only people I know that drive M3s are douche nozzles.

As to "spirited driving," while my GL is in no way like an M3, it is a fun vehicle to drive. One of the reasons I picked it over all the other luxury SUVs is because it drives far sportier than the others. Modern suspension technology is pretty amazing.

Lastly, you have to learn to stop tossing around the word "drunk" as if it is a pejorative.

It doesn't do that. It lets the throttle valves open up from 90 percent to 100 percent. All 10 cylinders are always active.

Lol I remember Jeremy Clarkson saying how M3 drivers have no friends haha. I was debating on getting either Jag. XFR or M5 but I got XFR as I was the only one with that in my city. Loved it with Quicksilver exhaust.

    +1

That was pretty on-point, Infiniti G's tend to be the domain of douchebags in America. Unfortunately, everything else in and around that segment tends to follow closely behind (Audi A4, 3-series, C-class, etc) - not that douchebags didn't exist in the early '90's, but I do feel that whenever the huge housing boom started and everybody in California got middle-class rich and bought their high school kids entry level luxury cars in the mid to late 90's and that spread across the nation and underage kids no longer drove beaters - combined with the 'tuning' movement, that segment was doomed forever.

not mine, just an internet pic
I don't own one (but this has got me considering one again)
my boss owned one in the early 90's and he let me drive it on occassion, and it was a heck of a car
a more current similar car (for a good budget price) is the C43 AMG, basically hot rodded V8 in a C classe

there are so many good cars, in all budget segments, new or used, current or 'classic' to choose from...that is GOOD thing

M3: imho the best M3 was one we didn't get, the mid 90's e36 euro version, 321 HP, 7800 redline, 6 TB I6
car could touch 190 mph and handled like it was on rails, and would run with any non-turbo 911 variant

Those M5's didn't have composite brakes, I don't think BMW even made composite brakes til this year on the M6 that hasn't even been released yet (?) - you're like two decades off with that. In the early '90's those Euro M cars had two-piece floating rotors with machined hats, big pot calipers - same parts as the 850CSi, so nothing outstanding by today's standards.

I'm pretty sure the current M5 has them.

yes they did, and yes they do
composite (as in more than 1 part), not ceramic/carbon fiber
at least that is what BMW called them
