New 6 is exponentially nicer than the horrendously designed outgoing version.

lolwut? new 6 looks like ass. I'd actually prefer the old 6 in a choice between the two. with my money though, I'd take neither

New 6 is eons smoother looking than the outgoing bangle butt version (i think that particular 6 is the 2nd ugliest car on the road behind the aztek). Personally I think the purple hue interlagos takes on is an embarrassment to great bmw blues like avus, le mans, estoril etc.

No way. The Panamera, 5GT, and Nissan Juke are pretty fugly, too, not to mention the entire Lincoln line.

LOL, I'm sorry you guys think my car is so ugly. I personally love it, and I really enjoy driving it.
When I wake up in the morning, I think, "damn, I have to go to work...but I can't wait to drive my car"
And to me, that makes it all worth it...

And this is coming from a Benz guy. I never thought I'd buy a BMW, and I felt sort of guilty getting rid of my AMG, but no regrets so far.

I'm a fan, and prefer the generation 6 series you have to the current one. I looked at a new one last Sunday while browsing the BMW lot - I'm not a fan of it. I might be switching to BMW from MB myself, but haven't made up my mind.

I'm always a little perplexed by people who buy cars based entirely on their look.

My family has always had Audi's and my uncles always laugh at my dad for the boring A8 when he could have an S class or Jaguar. When you're inside the car, you can't see what it looks like! Why would you forgo a great interior package or handling dynamic (not applicable to A8s) because it looks good/bad?

I recently took a ride in a Ferrari 599, and yes it looked amazing, but I was most impressed with the comfortable leather seats and the quality of the stereo.

uh, because it's an emotional decision? Do you also take this kind of open minded approach to women?

Much to my shame, I do. I've been with more more 4's and fattys that I would care to publicly admit. Whats the opposite of Alpha? Theta Male?

If you check most of Jet's previous post in this thread, you'll see that he's just like that. He's the automotive equivalent of cryptosexual.

Panamera isn't that bad but yes those others are pretty horrendous. I always find it amusing bangled designs appeal to non-car (read: pseudo) guys which is exactly what bmw's intention was.

also lol @ epb still swingin on deez nuts

lol @ jet calling me a "pseudo car guy". the new six is ugly as ****, don't be mad son. and if you read what I wrote you'd see that I said I wouldn't take either because they're both ugly, but the old is the lesser of the two uglies.

the panamera isn't as bad in person. a buddy of mine has the turbo and we swagged out cottage country in that ***** passing 220 km/h. she has a lot of buttons lol

Relax lil homie I wasn't referring to you but if you think the old 6 looks nicer might I recommend a trip to your optometrist this coming week.

Did I ever post my current car? I just cannot remember, have been lurking for so long...

2004 base Mazda Miata. Mostly stock except for some cosmetic changes, added safety gear and smaller diametre wider wheels.

One at rest...

One at play (but before I installed the bucket seats and harnesses)
