That was my biggest gripe about the new M7.

Do you mean all the GT4 logos? The one on the right is kind of like a "welcome" screen - it goes away when you turn the car on. The model designation on the speedo is permanent and has always been there for every Porsche model, as I recall

I was right in the neighborhood on errands so popped by the little dealership in the light industrial area to snipe the '02 90k mile e39 M5. The guy's financing is dragging on so may be back on the market this week.

Truly a nice lil sleeper. Hroi promised wantability on test drive so while I'm more so back on the e93 for summer vertability it'd be nice to at least take this out too for full context. Two childrenz only get bigger so a big arg for sedan remains.

I weep for the soul who has to finance a 12 year old, 90,000 mile M5.

It's less flash than even the old E46. I kinda like that.

And you can still rip if you're in the mood.

Yeah, you know. . The Twin Turbo variety. I call it "The imperial Thrift Cruiser". 300+hp of 4wd wagon badassery. :slayer:

Ordered some OEM Bilsteins, with "Zerosports" lowered springs. And a replacement Grille.

When did you get that? Sounds awesome.

Congrats on 4,000 miles !!! I'm sure every one of them put a smile on your face.

Actually, the model designation is not on the RPM gauge of every Porsche. I believe its mainly on Turbos or GT3, GT4.

The 991/981 "S" models just use a different color scheme RPM gauge than base models.
Below is my S model with optional white gauges from the day it was picked up.

Had the wagon for 2 years now. Triple black pearl Legacy GTB E-Tune. Need to get another good pic of it.
It's what Mrs V daily's. A capable wagon for winter.

Not making fun of you, warning against paying for hype. I paid $60 for struts with lowered springs and tops.
Mrs V's Wagin got dat pothole suspension bangagangabang. Have to swap it out. Would prefer fresh coilovers. But her choice. Used Bil's it is. The lower springs are a perk. :satisfied:

    The firmer ride? Well. . . :thumbs-up:

So somehow this happened yesterday. From my understanding there was a tree involved. All I could do was shake my head and say "How?"

Since I have been with my wife, she has hit 3 different stationary objects all while backing out of parking spots.

Looked at it this morning and I think if i replace the cracked parts of the grill and refinish the bumper it will be a cheaper in the short as well as the long run than filing an insurance claim.

"Hello Mr. State Farm? I'd like to file a claim. She hit a tree. Yes a tree. Pardon? Yes it must have been a fast moving tree..."

I'm calling BS until you provide pics. We all saw you posting about how you failed your first test.
