1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Dude, this is the internuts. People buy stuff online from around the world. So why aren't you buying your parts online and shipping them?

Those Tein are a better buy than new oem replacement.

You drive a Japanese car. Where do you think the best parts are??? -hint. Not "flying miata".

I think getting a professional opinion won't hurt, just be careful to not get suckered in. Not sure where you live, if it's a place I've lived/live, I can suggest a few shops.

I've actually never bought anything from yahoo.jp

How exactly does the proxy shipping service etc work? It looks like no one ships abroad.

And yeah, I know the teins are better, but the oems are reasonable and would sell for what I paid was in a better position to evaluate likes/dislikes about setups. Only issue is that most places don't list how much use something has had. Oh well.

Also, if you were wondering... you are remembering right. You've told me before not to bother with oem replacements lol.

Both of my parents had Bronco's and both rusted everywhere with Ohio winters and salt. All sorts of frame rust. I would ask for pictures of the underside unless you live close enough to check it out. The only other things I remember were the rear window motors crapping out a few times and they both got like 8-10 miles per gallon.

You proxy through me. I charge a 6pack of beer. You get parts to your door. For price+postage+beer. :nodding:

My memory remembers specs, not words. But you prolly guessed that by now. I have a photo memory. Flashes only.

    Dude. You're the man.

Hopefully someday that beer can be shared between us as well!

Out of curiosity, do you have links to any miata builds in japan I can look at?

Wouldn't shipping be prohibitive for some of these heavy parts? Like... to the tune of $100 plus?

    I'll send you a pm.

    UGHHHHHH!

(What'd you think of the linked car)
No but seriously. I'm on a few subaru groups here and the vape bros are so fucking cringe worthy.

The number of stanced WRX's and STI's that couldn't make it over a fucking speed bump are probably making colin mcrae roll in his grave.

I think your car can be better than that one.
    Keep at it.

That car you linked with ITB's is insane.

This guy build his up to like 172 rear wheel hp.

It seriously is the age old story of how the new generation doesn't know it's ass from a hole in the ground. I'm at the age where I can chuckle at both the young turks and the folks that are just getting nostalgic about being young turks and claim the latest crop is a failure. ;)

What is "stanced and vaped"? Does this mean that the fucking hellaflush crew also smokes e-cigs?

That would be the Venn diagram intersection of ultimate douchiness. Unless they all own sport bikes as well...

Don't forget the purple tinted sunglasses at 9pm. Not part of the vaping, but part of the stancing - in addition to using a baseball bat to roll your fenders so you can jam some huge ass wheels/tires with enough negative camber to make a stripper blush at the gaudiness.

    I'm 27 tho.

I think drift culture is cool as shit, but the stance shit just completely fucking pisses me off. Yeah, I mean it's cool how your rims are poking out from your flared fender or riding that gap and your tires are outside it and that you can actually go up and down the street without exploding at a pothole. I mean. I guess it's cool. I'm glad someone else likes it so I don't have to deal with it.

It's like the least utilitarian thing ever. The cars ride like shit, probably handle like shit, and to me it defeats the purpose. But like I said. I'm glad someone is up for paying stupid amount of money for non-go fast parts.

I am so confused on the whole stanced car thing. It just seems careless if you are going to drive like that.
