Just placed an order last night for the 2011 A3. Ended up with quattro, premium package, cold weather, bluetooth, and open sky. Color is meteor gray w/ light gray interior and should be here in mid-October. I used Amex Zag pricing and it worked out really well. The local participating dealer it pointed me too offered 500 over invoice which is a great price on the A3 as a number of other dealers don't move too much on these. Can't wait.

pscolari, I just ordered a 2011 A3 as well. Got the 2.0T, DGS, Quattro, premium plus, titanium package, convenience, open sky, black roof rails. Originally ordered black, but when they updated audiusa.com I noticed a new color, scuba blue. Immediately called the dealer to change my order. Should be here Oct-Nov, which works out well for me. My '08 TT goes back mid-Nov.

thoughts on chipping the A3 in lieu of the US not getting the S3 in the foreseeable future? substantial HP and torque increases for about $5-600. seems like a no-brainer.

that sux. guess VW/Audi doesn't want the R32 to have any competition?!

there's certainly a market in the US for a hot hatch... anyway, in response to the above - might as well chip it if you don't care about the warranty (big if). turbo cars are fun - when my 135i turns 3 years old i think i'll plug in a $600 JB3 software package that supposedly adds 100hp+100tq

I had to pickup a cargo van for a project. I have been having so much fun driving this the last 5 days. Don't be jealous.

I love my sports cars but this thing is so liberating since I don't give a **** about it. My fiance is embarrassed to be seen in it.
