After a blitz search at about 20 places for a men's winter scarf (in past two weeks many places around Greater Cleveland already have none or very, very few), and purchasing one at a resale shop basically in error, I got a beautiful new Carraig Donn scarf. Anyone familiar with the company? Their website says it's the largest knitwear company in Ireland but is also "prestigious," etc. "Largest" doesn't really cut it for me with menswear, but it is a beautiful, striped scarf and I really didn't want the more luxurious types this time - e.g. chanile, cashmere, etc. It wasn't very expensive but from a very nice Irish shop and really is attractive and goes amazingly with the intricate pattern in my wool Wigens cap.
