Sup guys. I'm a newbie and I just wanted to share my first shell cordovan and my first Carmina.
I understand the obsession now. Such a great shoemaker.

Do you have any Oscar lasted shoes to compare at the toe with Robert, side by side?. Thanks.

With apologies for the delay:

The left is a chukka on Robert, the right a jumper boot on Oscar.
As you can see, the Oscar is quite a bit more symmetrical - the medial (inside) aspect of the Robert stays much straighter from the ball of the foot. Personally, I like the look quite a bit - it gives a bit of visual intrigue to an otherwise conservative toe.

I don’t notice a difference in fit, but if the big toe area is ever an issue for you the Oscar could potentially hit it.

Wearing this today. Still breaking them in. The creasing on the left was pressing directly against my rightmost toe ... so it was pretty painful on the first two wears. Quite comfortable now.

Sorry for the bad lighting. I'm at a hospital (and reading the forum + post this to pass time). Will post a better photo of this one later :)

Oxford 80391, Rain last, Museum calf burgundy.

Thank you very much, great info. Now I have a clear view of the last. I still prefer the shape of Oscar for jumper boots. Cheers.

Hi, anyone have pictures of either brown grain or chestnut antique grain cap toe Oscar Jumpers in the wild? I'm trying to decide between the two colours. I'd be typically wearing with either navy or dark brown 5-pocket jeans, or dark or light denim.

Is there a pair of chocolate brown suede Carminas would people recommend? I want a versatile pair that can dress down a suit but also work with smart casual wear.
