So, I finally got the green suede string loafer. At $143 it was a no brainer. The only thing I fear is that this might means that no more Carmina at that store.

That's a strong mottled effect! Where does Carmina source its museum calf? Zonta or Bonaudo?

Carmina and Meermin are sharing the same lasts but with different names. Hiro looks like a copy of Rain to me.

The hiro monks fit roomy (not tight anywhere)

Anyone know if / how it's possible to fix these? Not just aesthetic issue - causing blisters on back of the foot so I have to put on 4 bandaids every day before I put them on!

It depends on how your heel fits in my opinion. I can't wear

Well, how does your heel fit in the Hiro last? If it's snug I wouldn't size down. If it's not, same sizing won't work as you cannot lace loafers.

The heel is not snug in hiro monks. But they still fit well. The monks (bucklers) also cant be laced but buckled (so you cant tighten them so much as a blucher)...
