Is the Carmina xim last a true to size last? I wear 9D ( medium allen edmonds 65 last). I like the Carmina loafers in the xim last.

Out of the box mine felt a bit snug after wearing them all day out and about walking around in the city, but they pretty much are.

I wore very thin invisible socks. You might want to go half a size larger if you intend to wear regular socks. Then again the loafers may stretch over time. Unfortunately I’ve not worn them enough times to be able to determine to which extent the leather will stretch. Mine are made of Karagrain by the way. Suade maybe more supple straight out of the box.

Thanks for the responses. I don't want to order a half size larger, so what I'm gonna do is try and wear thin silk or cotton socks and see how the fit will be. One pair I'm gonna order will be suede.

i found it to be too big. I ordered the same size as AE and it was at least a half size too big, if not a full size.

So, thats not good. One poster says XIM last is too big, another says its snug. Got to do more research on this. I have to get this right because I'm gonna be ordering custom made. I don't want to have to order a stock pair as a test run.

Lol I was going to ask whether anyone was hit with delays for their MTOs... placed two orders in April, but I guess if people are still waiting for their January orders, it seems like it'll be a long wait

I’m waiting for the GMTO placed March 22nd.

Yeah for me was around 4 months, they quote 60 days which they say means business days apparently. So gotta be patient, if you can haha

Funny enough I received tracking info for my order in January today and also my order from the last MTO event. Carmina told me the first order was delayed because they had a hard time getting the amaretto shell.
