This is the exact reason I will always come back to Carmina. A plethora of lasts, leathers and they truly let the customer tinker with nuances. I can’t wait for my pair. I’m already thinking of my next MTO build….

your boots look great! It might be a micro-detail but I love the purple lining!
Thank you Sir. I was trying to think of something slick, but subtle.

I like that you went with a u-tip here, not something you see very often
I have always wanted a U-tip, but I could never lock one down. I have seen a Vass version, and I considered doing a custom pair from Bonafe. All of the planets aligned and Carmina said yes, so I took a shot. It turned out well.

My shoes from the last custom weekend have arrived as well. I‘m very happy with them, but they might still be the last shoes by Carmina that I‘ve ordered (my „collection“ seems complete):

Around here, we all know that's a lie.

It‘s the 80440 model which is only available on Pina last. It‘s by far my favourite style for a loafer and the last fits me well; this is my third pair of that model.

Don‘t destroy my illusion  - but I know, the flesh is always weak :D

I have a Custom weekend order shipping via DHL and another via FedEx.

Either FedEx tracking system is lying (as usual - e.g. “attempted delivery”) or it did not go through customs inspection. ? Anybody else have this experience with FedEx?

That aside though, Carmina does appear to be getting these MTOS out to us much more quickly than last year! Very nice.

Just received an email from Carmina saying that my boots from the custom weekend are in the closing stage and that they will be ready by the end of the month. They apologized for the delay and said that they will be adding a gift to my parcel. Anyone know what the gift might be?

I think it varies. IIRC people have received MTO waiver codes, discount codes, shoe cream, etc. In my case, they let me keep an extra shoe horn.
