I like them paired with the brown cords

Thanks, I generally like a little more contrast. Amaretto is particularly chameleon like in how the color shows depending upon lighting and pants color. Mine are from the 1st run and have darkened a bit relative to @serbarristan pair, I think, but they can still show pretty orange or burnt orange in very bright light.

For sure, I had a pair from the first run that had to go back (without any shells to remake) and those were definitely a bit darker initially than this pair. I haven't had to leave the house in them yet to necessitate real pants, but likely will wear mostly with light grey, navy, and maybe olive chinos. I like the brown cord pairing a lot too, my pair is too summery for it I think.

Great minds, I like these a lot. Love the look of heavily brogued shell.

Speaking of heavily brogued carmina shell... it would be cool to do another olive wingtip jumper run one of these days. Not that I am up for ordering a pair myself right now, lol. This is actually the makeup that originally drew me to Carmina a few years ago.

Black is good too but it's very eye catching.

Hello everyone, I recently reached out to Carmina with a question but have yet to receive an answer, so I'll give this thread a try. Is it possible to have custom chelsea boots made without the pull tabs they usually come with, if I request Carmine remove them?

I am sure that is possible. That is a very minor change. Add it to the special comments on your order.

Whoa. I wonder how the hand painted stuff evolves over time.

I don't know. I am sure there are some on the thread that have them. They did, I think, two runs the most recent of which was already 3 or 4 years ago.

There's a purple hand painted option too, right? I feel like I saw a pic of that at some point.
