Was planning to tag you on a post earlier. I was wearing those color 4 longwings earlier today with the crazy back story that I am sure you recall. I feel a twinge of guilt every time I wear them even though I knew nothing of the background at the time when I bought them. :) I've since switched to vibergs and neglected to catch a pic beforehand.
Ha! How are they treating you? Interested to see the color over time, that was a cool batch.

I reckon this thread needs its own puppy! ??
Don't be fooled by the size he's still a pup. I'd post my shoes too, but I have to confess that I am wearing Allen Edmonds.

I just received my custom bourbon shell frankenstitch bluchers after a three month wait. Also came with a matching belt. I got a double sole with a stormwelt and danite soles. I'm really happy because they are flawless to my eyes.

I actually got lucky when I bought these. I ordered from the website the same time the Dubai store opened where I live. At that time, the website you access in this country was updated to show prices in the local currency. But they messed up and the custom prices were all wrong. Long story short, I paid a grand total of 400 US$ for a pair of customised shell Carminas! They would have had every right to cancel the order, but they still honoured it. I noticed that about an hour after my order, the customised option was removed from the website, and its only recently been put back.

The only problem is that they seem tight. I ordered 7.5EEE in Forest last, which fit me perfectly when I tried on at the store. On the inside it only says 7.5, not 7.5EEE. On EEE shoes, is it usually printed on the inside? I just wonder if they made a regular width by mistake instead of EEE.

Congrats, they look fantastic. I have boots in both Forest EE and EEE, and both pairs simply have 8 printed on the lining. EEE has considerably more volume though, and I need heavy boot socks or an insole to wear the boots

Lovely colour, and they look very nice.

However, I think that for future purchases, you should look for a different last, one that has more room for your high insteps.
Is this sarcastic? because he definitely does not have too high of an instep for that last.

I dunno, I kind of agree his feet look like they are too large for that pair based on the instep. If they're comfy and fit, no problem, but, I wouldn't let him walk out of the store with a "v-gap" that large myself.
