Just an update on my mto. I asked what the faults were and if they weren’t terrible
I may consider with a discount. They sent several pics. Was scars on scratches in the leather in a couple of places but I agreed with a pair of trees I’d take em. View attachment 1543283

To be fair to the ladies on email they said was difficultly communicating with factory due to corona so worked out as well as possible.

Thanks! They're lovely. I've been looking at Carmina for a probable customised boot, and I've narrowed it down to either Oscar or Forest. What makes you prefer the Forest last?

Don’t pay it , drop Carmina an email. You shouldn’t be paying additional tax on orders from last year. I’ve just had a request for payment. Carmina are sitting it out.

You shouldn’t have to if you paid for the shoes last year, as the price would have included Spanish VAT. If you paid this year and Carmina haven’t paid U.K. VAT as part of the price then you need to pay that invoice.

If Carmina charged Spanish VAT and you paid this year then they have cocked up and need to give you that part back as you shouldn’t pay VAT twice.
