You go around bashing other brands like Carmina, Bonafe and other mid price range makers only to promote TLB. Your tactics are exposed, cheap and lame at the same time.

I think it's safe to assume that there's plenty of room for both TLB Artista and Carmina, each have their attributes and the consumer wins. My fear is not that Carmina raises their prices slightly, but that they collude with each other and both jack up their prices considerably. Now that would suck for us!

? Are you a UM alum? And, isn't there a third pair?
I’m not an alum, but I live near campus and family has strong connections.
And yes. The Third pair....

80223 on Oscar in Natural Kavat. I took a closeup of the texture. Has some faint striations that don’t photograph well but will probably appear as they patina. Looks delicate but it feels bulletproof.

Carmina have more lasts, styles and options. Artista will eat up some base models not all. Raises prices to compete with G&G etc? That wont end well for them.
That's one of the beauties of Carmina, the extensive catalog of lasts and models that can be called on for MTO. Basically any Carmina shoe you can find via an internet search - whether a branded MTO, the Japanese market shoes, or the early 2000s lasts that no longer get marketed (e.g. Philadelphia, Alcudia, Deia) - can be MTOed. The customization tool on their site is only a starting point for what you can get produced for a reasonable upcharge (30% from RTW).

Try Ioana via email or Sara on here. Both are brilliant. I have the hinges ones in my rain shoes. For me, they only seem to work in rain loafers but not rain derbies. Weird ??‍♂️ Going forward, I’m sticking with springed ones. There was mention last year of lasted shoe trees. But nothing has come of it.
Thank you very much. I love the hinged trees, however, they work on all my Simpsons but not my Rain monks last. Yes, wired. I guess that’s why the springs are the safest. To have.

I didn't realise he'd been bashing EB as well. Each to their own I guess - I loathe Alligator which he seems to love also. I wonder if he's aware that there are other threads that he can discuss the footwear he likes?
