Hi folks, I’ve recently seen some scratches on my Carmina calf cap toe. What are your approaches towards dealing with this? Thanks!

I ordered my shell cordovan derby shoes 22nd December and it said that "shipping immediately". I've heard NOTHING after the order. I've tried to catch them on email - nothing. But they took my money. Nice.

While I understand e sizing is not exact science, wondering if anyone has insights as to why Carmina size chart is somewhat nonstandard? For example, a 10.5UK, would have thought it’s a 44.5EU but Carmina has it as 45? Would a pair be more TTS with its UK size or the converted EU size? Thanks!

A little sizing help please. Summer here in Australia and expanding my summer shoe collection with some horsebit loafers (I find them rather appealing when done tastefully). However they’re too snug (size 8) and the far less appealing Bally’s beside happen to fit perfect. Would I be best exchanging for an 8.5 or a 9?

Does anyone know if it is possible, from a welt-construction standpoint, to get Carminas re-soled from a single to a double sole and vice-versa? In other words, if I have a pair of single dainite sole boots, and at some point, when I get them re-soled, I wanted to put a double sole on, is that possible?

Very easily. When they remove the old sole, they just install a double rather than a single. Now, will Carmina do it? I don't know, but third parties like B Nelson or Bedos definitely do it all the time.

Agreed. I have several orders in play and would appreciate a reply. I got the canned “we are away for the holidays” reply today. If the shoes weren’t so darn beautiful and fit well I would take my business elsewhere.
