^ That is a great color. Congrats!
True color somewhere in between: And Carmina did a hello of a job matching the shell. Really know what they are doing and the care and attention to detail is there.
Could you have gone up 1/2 a size w/o them being too big?
I would recommend going tts with the alcudia last. Those with a high instep may feel some discomfort on the forefoot though.
looking really good Namor! I would love to hear how they feel after a couple of wears
Namor what size do you wear in c&j and what size are the alcudias?
Hem looks tiny man what size is that?
Shoes look good.
I would guess it is because he's bending forward to take the picture. If you take a look at his tumblr you can see the LO is usually spot on.
thanks for the advice. ill make sure to grab a pair. After wearing the pair for 16 hours, i feel comfortable making this statement: those with high arches and wide feet stay away! I have a high arches and i was feeling the pain around the lacing area. i would say the alcudia last is a normal "d" width last with a roomy toe box with a low instep/tight lacing area
the shell dried out by the end of the day. applied two coats of saphir and the shoes gobbled em up. hoping its a one time occurrence and doesnt become a persistant issue like the RL marlows
Thought it was a lack of sleep reference..CONGRATS!
NAMOR, those even look skinny. Would you size up if you had another go at these?
What Carmina last would you recommend for those with wider feet & high arches? Inca?
RDiaz, it seems like I haven't seen much information about the Detroit--may I ask how they fit?
There are many Carmina lasts I haven't tried, so I can't compare much, but the Detroit has a rounded toe, and is quite generous in width. I can go down half a size compared to Alcudia or Simpson. Be warned though, it's wide but quite low in the instep area. It fits great on me because I have wide feet with a low instep. It's kinda like a rounded toe, slightly wider version of the Rain last.
is this what you are raising the stink about? and the vass thread didnt answer it? lol
Separate names with a comma.
