Beautiful. I'm generally not that into suede, but a makeup like that could change my tune.

it is against forum rules and you could be banned for it...Up to you whether you want that risk or not

truth in advertising: I posted something similar just a couple of posts up, and I can see where thread readers wouldn't want the thread clogged with a litany of selling posts; but...

...it's really against forum rules? I've seen this plenty of times and, honestly, have even taken advantage of it on occasion. I personally don't see it as a negative, as long as it's brief and relevant, because readers of enthusiast threads like this are specifically interested in these items and don't necessarily follow B&S closely enough to spot items they'd be interested in.

I've always thought a friendly "Hey all you [fill in the thread title fans] - I've got something you might be interested in over here" was perfectly acceptable.

Maybe what we do need is a requirement that it's only allowed if they post some good product-porn with it as well :)

It is. I just saw In Stitches remove a post and give a one-tine warning just a few hours ago

[email protected] I tend to agree with you. I felt my post was highly relevant and adds to the discussion.

@ScottMC Scott, I did the same thing with a pair I sold (made a FS post in a thread). Best way to do it, without breaking the "rules," is to put it in your signature. That way, whenever you post, it's at the bottom of every post.

FS posts are strictly forbidden in regular threads. Links in members sig lines are all that are allowed. B&S bans with a $500 buy-back are issued to repeat offenders who have been warned. Those are the rules gents.

Mods do not troll looking for such posts, but they get reported daily, and deleted as such. So dont think there is any favoritism here. If you see a FS post that was not deleted its just because it was not reported.

While I agree that your post was relevant, I dont think a post on selling the shoes adds to any discussion.

I believe it is against the rules because we have a specific section of the forum dedicated to selling items with very specific rules that can be monitored/policed in that one section. It seems pretty reasonable to request limiting posts outside of B&S to links in your signature so I dont see the big deal.

Is there an In between? Rain and Simpson both have the same chamfered, low profile toe box. From what I can see if Simpson is narrow and Rain is wide width there doesn't appear to be a mid-width with the same toe box profile?

    ......unless I'm mistaken?......

^^^ Good question - I'm not sure that there is a mid-width Carmina last with a similar profile - particularly the chiseled toe box.

Fair enough, I didn't know (and, yes, yes, yes - I know it's my job to read the rules "I did! I really did!! Waaaayyyy back in the day!")

Thanks to Rydenfan for politely keeping things on track and Hall Monitor Stitchy for clarifying.

    Back to our regular programming.
