    That is a beautiful shoe. If we can get a restock of your size I will post it up!

    How does Cheaney stack up to AE and Carmina? Assuming sales for all 3 companies are available.

    For $300 (Cheaney), it's roughly $60 more expensive than AE ($240) and $150 cheaper than Carmina ($450). Thoughts?

    Can anyone please help me with CARMINA sizing?

    Based on the shoes I wore, which size would be best for
    "DETROIT Last"

    6E for Alden (Barrie Last), i suppose 6.5D would fit me like

    6E for C&J Lowndes (348 Last), this is a bit too tight, i wish it was 6.5E

    Thank you [IMG]

    There is an entire, separate thread devoted exclusively to Carmina sizing in styleforum.net. you will find the answers to your question there.

    6.5D and 6E should fit similar. I'll propose two sizes and only you would know what fits best when you try it.

    6.5D Barrie - Slight Snug ----> Detriot 6UK
    6.5D Barrie - Slight Loose ---> Detriot 5.5UK

    Some people prefer to go down half a size and some people prefer to go down a full size.

    Gents, quick question.

    Anyone owns suede Rain lasted loafers? If yes, did you size down half size?

    I'm 8UK in Carmina Rain, Inca and Forest last.

    Thanks

    There is indeed, but this thread has over 10 times as many replies and is considerably more active. I wonder if the threads could be merged? I would think one Carmina thread would be enough for SF.

    I do not have the suede loafers, but have two pair of loafers on the Rain the last. I take the same size in the loafer as I do in an oxford or a blucher. Not sure why suede would be different.

    I take a 7E in Barrie, 7.5E on a Brannock device. I wear a 6.5UK wide in Rain and Detroit lasts and find the Detroit last far more comfortable than Rain.
