Carmina Saddle Cordovan Full Brogue Balmorals (922)
Nice pictures! We still have that model and cognac on sale at this time.
I actually have this same shoe in cognac already.
What else do you have on sale?
I noticed the bottom layer of the sole of my Carmina's are separating... They're only a year old. Something to worry about? Something to fix?
It looks like it may just be the closed stitching peeling up and not really the welts separating (hard to see from the small pic.). If it's the forst one it's natural and nothing to be worried about
I don't think it's the welt separating, I'm just wondering if I should see someone to repair it.
carmina is my ultimate shoe! wish i could afford them one day
No it's not. Just use some glue.
Where does the Inca last fall in width and instep?
I think over read that it's like Rain (roomy and for high insteps).
Yeah? Inca is described by Epaulet as sleek, almost sounds like Simpson (too narrow for me).
I'm liking Carmina's lasts more and more. Much more than Alden's.
Just got back from vacation in Spain and paid a visit to Carmina (just to look, really!). But I couldn't leave without a pair once I was in the store Looking forward to breaking these in and joining the Carmina club Burgundy on the Alcudia last.
How does that last fit vs Rain and Oscar?
Inca is a generous fitting last. It looks sleek, but it fits close to Rain.
Model 922, cordovan versus calf. Who is the winner?
Separate names with a comma.
