My favorite Carmina bad weather boot. Can take a beating and still clean up nice. Oscar last.

Thank you for suggesting, I visited Gentlemensfootwear. The shoe collection is amazing.

Seconded. The laces are a nice touch.

That thing is bad ass isn't it? I tried on a Carmina double monk on Rain in Philly, but I didn't feel like it worked for me. Maybe because I was dressed casually? I feel like I'd have to go back there a bit more dressed and try them on again.

I much prefer a single monk to double personally. I just feel like there is less hardware and the angle of the strap works better for me. Plus it is a longer piece of uninterrupted shell

I can see that. It works out for me as it is one less shoe type I am interested in.

Broguing is not my thing, but I'm trying to pitch them to my brother-in-law who has a penchant for wingtips. However, he isn't as shoe crazy as I am and seem to be effectively exercising restraint. (Missing out on a good thing, if you ask me.)

These were made for Paul Stuart by Carmina. Any ideas what last this is? I only have experience with the forest and the simpson. I love the toe shape on these.[IMG]

That doesn't look like any Carmina last I've seen. It might be a last that is only available on a mto
