It's really a crapshoot. Sometimes you get hit and sometimes you don't. I had an order of two pairs (one calf one shell) and didn't get have to pay.

Crap, not sure why I didn't specify I want snuff suede. I don't see myself wearing a dark brown suede chukka too often. They don't look as good with jeans, which is what their main use would be for.

They are both a goodyear welted shoe.
I think you mean flat welt versus the reverse welt.

Nope. The Bonafes are hand-welted, not Goodyear welted.

I thought goodyear welted also counted as hand-welted, although maybe not all the time. If that makes sense.

I was looking for a cleaner welt, like on the Bonafes or the chukkas here. How are these constructed differently than the ones at Skoab? I thought when the welt goes vertical like that, it's a norwegian welt.. not the same as goodyear.

    Thanks in advance, guys.

Maybe Steve ordered a couple extras for the latest MTO...sounds like it would have been perfect for you. Carmina, Rain, Tobacco, Goodyear, Dainite

No. The terms describe different methods of construction. The Carminas are Goodyear welted. The Bonafes you linked from Skoab are hand welted. It's not the same thing.

Do a search on the forums - there have been several (tedious, pedantic) threads on the subject. At a minimum you will glean the difference between the two construction methods.

@steveyoo1983 ? Maybe? I've been off and on SF, I missed the MTO... I'm a 10 or a loose 10.5 in Inca.. I hear that's the same as Rain.
