Similar shape, very different width / volume, I would not advise Simpson if Rain is a good fit

    Beautiful loafers!
I found Uetam last so slim and narrow that I had to size the loafers up by 1/2 as compared with simpson last.

I find the fit for Uetam last impossible for me (and I fit in the Simpson last just fine.) :-(

Thanks guys, I appreciate the comments!

No, these were stock from Carmina direct.

Yeah, I definitely sized on the risky side. Half a size down from my usual size in other brands. I did that with other loafers too so I thought it would be worth a shot. Loafers are just tricky to get the sizing right.

You can do a search to confirm, but a poster paid about $35 - $40 for a pair of $650 shell.

I did not, or rather, have not received a customs bill yet. Now that I stuck my foot in my mouth, I bet one comes today...

If you look at my marketplace thread for the Ruby Shell Captoes on the Rain last, you should see some photos comparing it to a #4 belt that I purchased from Horween's web shop a while back.
