1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Well, no. I still think that for your intended purpose, the loafer is better. But if you also need a formal, oxford then that would be a great shoe to get in addition.

Out of curiosity, are you of the school that believes a tan oxford is not to be worn with Navy?

I will wear tan with navy for some reason, but I typically will not wear a mid - dark brown. I will wear burgundy or black instead. I will often wear my whiskey(light tan) cordovan shoes casually with blue.

Standard issue black cap toes on the Forest last. I'm very happy with the quality and construction:

Hi, will you ever carry some shell tanker boots again? I used to think they were the ugliest things in the world and now I'm scrambling to find a pair.

Does anyone know if this is a welt issue or just cosmetic, hard to capture in photos but it appears the upper is separated a little from welt at this area:

Something's wrong there--either a failed/damaged inseam or a poor job of inseaming. My guess is that it is not simply cosmetic.

Looks great! Can we get some "in the wild" photos once you start wearing them? I'm considering doing a simpson lasted wholecut in black myself.

I noticed the bottom layer of the sole of my Carmina's are separating... They're only a year old. Something to worry about? Something to fix?

It looks like it may just be the closed stitching peeling up and not really the welts separating (hard to see from the small pic.). If it's the forst one it's natural and nothing to be worried about

I don't think it's the welt separating, I'm just wondering if I should see someone to repair it.
