Thanks, guys. This is why I have 6 pairs of Carmina on the Rain last (with an additional 3 on the way) and no Meermin and no other Carmina lasts. The shoes beg to be tried on. I may just quit looking - no last fits me as well as the Rain.

Anyone bought this pair from carmina online? 813-002 full brogue oxford in cognac calf?

Mind sharing pics under different lighting condition? Will like to see the shade of brown... Their website only has a single pic. Thanks!

Someone must own a pair of Carmina's wholecut shell cordovans -- how have they aged?

I have to take a half size up in Robert compared to my size in Forest. To me, Robert is to Forest as Simpson is to Rain, similar looking but a bit narrower.

We had some questions about Rayder versus Rain fitting. People should take the same size and there will be a little more room in the toes for Rayder.

Rubi Cordovan in Simpson Last, sized up 1/2 on advice of Leatherfoot and fits great. Not as red as I thought as it might have been.

Terrific. If that pic is showing true to colour, then that is one of the darker examples of Ruby shell I have seen. Enjoy!

Rainy day today in Chicago. My shell boots are finally breaking in, sorry for the iPhone pic.
How much more "snug" is the Simpson Last compared to the Robert? These boots are on the Robert Last and as you can see because of my higher instep, the lacing doesn't quite close all the way. I'm just wondering would going up 1/2 do the trick on the Simpson OR would they just cause a lot of discomfort. Thanks all.

I would go up 1/2 on Simpson from Robert.

How often do you wear your Carmina shell in Chi? A lot of extreme climates. Are you able to wear them in summer and winter?
