One question for the Carmina pros: I fell in love with a loafer being build on the "Simpson" last. I know that this last matches the "348" last of Crockett & Jones to a certain extent, but size wise - is a Crockett & Jones UK 10 as long as a Carmina UK 10?

You might want to check out the Carmina webstore. Last time I checked, they had this one in an 11.5UK

I think I'm more wary of the simpson last being too narrow more than anything.

One of my regrets from last year was not picking up a pair of Carmina brown suede brogues that were on sale for 200 Euros at a department store. I only knew a little about Carmina at that time and didn't know if it was a good price

That said, I'm off to the same place again this summer and hope to find discounted Carminas again; I won't make the same mistake a second time.

If this happens I'd let you proxy buy for me
