I’m very tempted. However, I can only imagine what the lead time will be like on these since we just had an MTO weekend a month ago.

I'm still waiting for a pair from the GMTO back in Jan! As well as the MTO weekend lol. I'm tempted to get another pair but I have a feeling the wait will be 5 months.

Haven't worn them in rain but I'd guess any welts or splotches would be less noticeable due to the grain pattern

This is my first pair of Carmina shoes -- and my first pair of shoes of a higher quality than Allen Edmonds. They're so beautiful I'm afraid to wear them. It seems such a shame to scuff up those beautiful soles.

Beautiful! Shoes are only expensive if you do not wear them… I wear mine as much as possible now that I got over similar feelings as yours.

Just finally managed to wear these beauties, which I got in the lovely Carmina store in Barcelona. Unlined blue suede leather on Sineu last. V comfortable and good support. Recon I could get away with these in the summer as well (more British than Spanish!)

Is Carmina shop in Barcelona big? I am going there in June and would like to snag a pair if something interesting would be there. Do you remember if there was some brown (doesn't matter if light or dark shade) suede derbies (or chukka) on round last(calvia, forest, oscar...) with 270° welt and leather or any flat sole (dainite, etc.)?

I want a pair from the cordovan event, but they don’t come in wide sizes. The work boots or the monk boots in amaretto shell would be top tier.
