the part in red is different ... one has a leather edge, the other a straight cut.
It’s matte oiled leather. Won’t take a shine. Don’t use standard cream or wax on it. Saphir have oiled cream.Anyone have experience with how the Vegano (or Box Calf) and Elbamat leathers tend to crease? Also, can Elbamat take a higher shine? Not a mirror shine necessarily but it's difficult to tell if it's a matte leather or if it can be shined.
Hmm, this is kind of how I was thinking about it myself. There is also the karagrein but I have a feeling the creasing may not be as nice as the elbamat seems to be.I was thinking of elbamat for my simple black 80179 for heavy duty wear.
but eventually, I went with black vegano to have the option of dressing them up in case I needed that, and spare the heavy duty idea.
