I’ve been wanting a boot in loden suede for a while, but the elbamat and lama both look interesting too.
Anyone have experience with the elbamat and lama?

The elbamat leather is lovely, soft, oily and thick with a lot of color variations despite starting out quite dark.

Thinking of a jumper boot in the same leather...

Just a side note, been thinking of a pair of bluchers in the loden suede for quite some time, and the current batch from Carmina looks quite dark and nice.

Is woven/braided leather an option anywhere for Custom Weekend? I browsed through the available leathers and did not see it.

Apart from that, any leather recommendations, outside of suede, for an easy-breazy summer loafer that can be worn with things like shorts and linen pants?

I’ve got a pair of unlined Uetam tassel loafers that I wear with shorts etc. Mine are suede, but they’d work great in a soft leather. Whatever Carmina’s version of Utah/Delapre is would be ideal.

Wouldn't the rusticalf leather be a good option?

Yea that looks ok actually. Plan is for something as close to the AM loafers i saw on their webshop.
I think those are on sale currently… They’ll take longer but they’ll also be handwelted when they come :stirpot:
