Got my remade 80277. This boot is fantastically better than the first. The edge color came out a lot lighter than I had requested, but I’m kinda digging it.

On Robert last. Which somehow makes my chunky feet look slim.

Whoever constructed this boot was in another league than the first. The fit even feels better and everything is aligned well. Hopefully a sign of things to come.

Congrats doc. Boots and Robert last both look great.

How would you compare instep to Forest/Oscar? These are the only two lasts I own, so trying to gauge fit against these.

They do look very nice indeed. Nice contrasting sole.

Very similar to Forest if a bit lower but I mean just a smidge. Oscar and forest are my favorites as far as fit goes.

Just curious what makes you say this as the photo doesn't really show anything at all in regards to the quality of the belt...
Those belts are so deform after 50 wears and cost almost 200 euro, well you can get much better quality than Carminas' belt.

Don't mean to offend OP, but that's how my belt looks when I size incorrectly. Typically happens when I'm in between sizes and end up putting too much stress on the leather. Moving up to the next hole provides better, albeit slightly loose, fit.

No offended, actually after I replied to you, I was thought that could be due to stress on leather and can be wrong size belt, kudos to you!

I posted this in a thread that was ostensibly about shoe care and received no response, so am trying my luck here...

I have a pair of cordovan bluchers (Carmina) and despite no heavy wear they have developed these black lines across the vamp, which I have so far struggled to remove. They look like ingrained dirt, but don’t respond to brushing.

I’d be grateful for suggestions of how to resolve the issue.
