Something went wrong with my boots! absolutely NOTHING to do with the manufacture or the company totally my fault, can anyone tell any difference?

Does it have to do with the color because it appears uneven in places

No, I bought some laces and when I pushed them through with force some of the half eyelets came off so I have to have some other eyelets fitted otherwise eventually it would have cut through the leather. But I do not think it looks that bad with the full eyelets showing from the outside.

It was only my mistake to push so hard to try and get these new unbreakable laces in that some of the eyelets fell out so I had to have new ones fitted but these could only be fitted from the out side ! The first picture shoes how the boots were before without the eyelets and the other two are with the eyelets . I don't mind it so much either with or without.

Agreed. That's one of the things that held me back from getting Skoaktiebolaget's grain leather bal boot.

Can anyone comment on the fit of the Carmina Simpson last compared to a G&G soft square? I'm an 11 UK in my G&G's but won't have a chance to try on any Carminas before I order.

Not exactly the lasts you wear but I wear the same size on the Alcudia (which I've read here is similar to Simpson) and TG73 (not sure which last yours is on).

I'm a US 9D, I wear a 8.5E in Gaziano & Girling lasts, 8E in Carmina's Simpson last. The Simpson last is very snug, but comfortable as long as your feet are a standard width.
