Difficult to answer. Personally I have a slim heel and tend to err towards slightly tight width if anything. You can always stretch it slightly at the cobbler but you cannot make the shoe smaller if you take the bigger one. Of course this advice only works with small fit issues.
Guess the only way to discover would be in store or order multiple sizes.

Have you ever considered Rain in EEE?
Yes I have. But there only so many in stock models. To MTO everything will become very expensive.

Thanks both for the input!

Why wait for cooler weather?

man up, I’ve got 16oz slub selvedge and jumpers on in 90s with 90% humidity 😂

Or
15.7oz if I want to lose a few pounds in sweat 🥵

That’s brave! Or foolhardy! Boots are awesome, but I’m curious about what jeans these are? They both look to have great texture - not related to Carmina so feel free to PM...

That looks fantastic, but why would you do that to yourself when there exists great lighter-weight denim and loafers? Genuinely curious.

I’m primarily wearing 13.5oz and under, like here, Raleigh denim OG white oak selvedge is 13.5, with unlined loafers. But I’m also working from home and still dress the same as I would if I’m not. So it’s not a huge discomfort if I get the itch to wear boots and a pair of heavier denim.

The denim doesn’t make me feel as warm though as wearing boots. The boots will definitely kick up the temp on really humid days.

That looks really good. What last are those loafers? I find my high instep makes breaking in strap loafers a pain.

Thanks! Yeah I have a higher instep, and these are the best carmina loafer I’ve had. It’s on the sineu last from Steve at Gentlemen’s footwear.
