Gentlemen, I'm just doing another interest check in this MTO. It would be the Rain lasted wingtip in the darker "Natur Marron" color (so the wingtip in the color of the captoe). I have the 922 wingtip in black, and it's great. I like it so well, that I want the same thing in dark brown. Two other members have expressed interest, so we just need three more to get it done. PM me if you'd like to join.

Mr. Six,

How many people do you have for the MTO?

Not to be rude but i think this is a hint :):

We've had conversations about this outside of PMs. I didn't want to intrude with such a minor question.

^Thanks, Frank. The total required is six to avoid the MTO fee. I got a PM from a fourth person this morning who's potentially interested. So, we're down to needing two more. PM me if you want in.

justinkapur and I are trying to get enough people for a MTO in Navy Suede in a loafer similar to that. Not sure if suede can be done on a split toe?

Yessir let's do it! It'll be a sweet shoe perfect for any season and a great loafer to set of any outfit

Dear all,

There are great variations in shades for different batches of Horween Cordovan. We all know this.

I am curious to see what they will look like in real life and will be able to do a side by side comparison with my saddle shell Carmina boots.

I'm curious (and this is a question to all with more experience than I) - how are all the many, many the C&J Marlows, Darltons, Lindricks very close in colour? They all use Horween shell. Is there some sort of polishing going on?

i've wondered the same . . . . to the point i have a slight suspicion the volume buyers could either have first crack at production runs or 'tanning' is done to their specification.
there just seems to be too much shading consistency with certain brands for it to be otherwise.
