Looks like Carmina saved the best for last! I now have 5 out of 5 MTO models and I am thrilled with the result. Here’s a look at the last arrival:

- Forest last
- Bourbon cordovan
- U-tip boot
- dark brown edges and double Dainite sole
- Brass hardware
- full leather insock-footbed (makes them the most plush boots I own).

The bourbon cordovan used on this Carmina boot is mesmerizing. It almost looks marbled in some light. Pardon the ****** pics. I’d take them outside but it’s freezing and snowing, so this’ll have to do for now. View attachment 1292824

These are stunning.
I will go with this design whenever the next round of col4 shell gets delivered.

I just ordered those exact boots basically, but without the split removed. I also got a storm welt, but those are gorgeous. I was on the fence about removing the split or not, but I have a few pairs of Indys and no NSTs, so I kept it.

We had a request a while back to show you the available sketches for a winged boot that resembled the "Calway".

As you know, we have a great archive of models that are both in the making or heritage from other generations. Amongst our selection we have found and polished four options.

We have decided to manufacture a new model which we will number as 80791. However, you all have the option of deciding which boot will be part of our collection.

Of course, we will also create a private GMTO for Styleforum users if you are interested.

Access this link to vote for your preferred model. Link

Given the consensus on the style for our next 80791 model, we have now closed the voting link.

Option one has been selected as our next boot model. Therefore our artisans can now start to create the pattern, model pieces.. This process will very like take 1-2 months.

If anyone is curious about the other details you voted, this is the result.

As soon as the model is ready to manufacture, we will let you know.

Any suggestions on how to create a GMTO? A regular one in our website in which only the size can be selected or a larger option on GMTOS with the option to select leather, soles, lasts...

1st, thanks for all of that information on the voting.
2nd, definitely use your SF version of GMTO, giving the buyer as many options as you can to build their shoe. You all changed the GMTO game with that approach.

I think the latter , so “larger option on GMTOS with the option to select leather, soles, lasts...”.
