Could some one please PM me Betty's email address? Very much appreciated....jtb
I got in some Carmina midght blue single Monks from Epaulet today. Thought I'd post a couple of quick fit pics here:
Epic! Really digging their short wings and boots
you wore it well . . . . great sox by the way, who are they ?
Thanks! The socks I wore are just some Pantherella wool OTC's from Sierra Trading Post.
Picked up my first pair of Carminas a couple weeks ago during my trip to Paris, and love them. Burdeos finish on the Simpson last. After the 3rd wear.
I just wish the bottoms were black - the browns make them harder to pull off with a suit in my opinion.
Gorgeous none the less
Does anyone have a photo of these? http://www.carmina.telemaco.es/articulo.asp?idarticulo=3640213 They seem to be relatively new on the site.
That's actually the same model Epaulet calls the Ellison. You can see much better pictures here. Since you're in New York you can even try it on. I did that this weekend and it's a gorgeous shoe but I convinced myself to go for the ruby captoe MTO instead:
I love that this comment reads like "Mumble mumble, here's just enough information to make this a decent reply, and wham now I can share more photos of my juicy new shoes."
CanGren, those look lovely.
Hows the fit? and If thats the color im pretty fucking stoked for the Jodphurs when they come in
ooooooo those are sweeeet. Congrats
Gorgeous everything...colour, last, finishing.
Just when I thought I was out.....
I have another pair of Carminas on the Rain last (austerity brogue) and I felt it was the best fitting pair of shoes I own. It fits me TTS at UK8/US9. This pair of single monks is also UK8/US9 and feels a touch looser in the heel area and I seem to get a slight heel lift (though I haven't walked for real in these shoes yet). I think once the sole breaks in a bit, the fit should be pretty good.
Those are awesome. Is Louis still there? He was really helpful when I was there last year.
