Since when? Doesn't show up as an option on the site.
I didn’t think it was available, either. Will need to look into this.

Could anyone give an opinion on the difference between the Detroit EE and EEE width please? Is the width significantly greater ?

No, IMO based on the shoes I have from Carmina in both EE and EEE the difference is almost unnoticeable. Example of a US D (normal) vs E Wide), I wear a D but E is to wide, but with Carmina EE (Normal) vs EEE (Wide) I can wear both no issue. So is the EEE wider, yes it is, just not that much. Now the Detroit is a reasonably wide last out of the gate so depends on what you are trying to accomplish.

Where do u find the greatest difference in width? Ball, toes, instep, heel, or all over?

I would like Detroit EEE better if the ball and heel were exactly the same, but the heel and instep were narrower.

So I decided to wear each for a few hours to gather my thoughts. Most noticable is more room in the instep so I think this speaks to a little more overall room. The heel difference is unremarkable, ball maybe just a little more room, I say this because my big toe has more room forward of the ball, the overall diff is minimal in all areas.

I would describe it like this, you know those ultra thin test socks you see in some shoe stores so that if you are barefoot you can put that on before trying on shoes. It's like taking that test sock and putting it over your regular dress sock and then putting on the shoe. Yes there is more room but really not that much.

Where for example with Allen Edmonds the diff between D and E is like putting a cotton gym sock over your dress sock.

Our US staff will very gladly fix this issue in-store, please send us your pictures and details to [email protected] and we will assist.

As an update to this, Carmina was gracious enough to help me get the issues repaired. Amazingly, they were able to get rid of the strange indentations and the glue. I did notice a [very!] small crack on the toe cap, but it's something I can live with. But I was wondering if there might be something to help conceal it or fill it in? It's a navy cordovan leather double monk, so I'm not certain what types of creams or polish to use to most closely match the current color:

From what I've read online, it seems my best bet is to use Saphir Cordovan Cream Shoe Polish and then maybe follow it up with the Saphir Pate de Luxe Wax Shoe Polish in Blue Marine?

I have worn my carmina cordovan out twice.
Then I did some conditioning with sapphir renoveteur and kept it away after brushing it off.
There's these rough spots that I found now on shoes, shown in the pictures. Can't remember if they were there previously before the renoveteur..

Any advise on how to make it smooth once again?

Brush brush brush. If that doesn't cure it, you can use a deer bone or some VSC/Bick4 to lubricate and the back of a spoon to massage the area a bit. It'll calm back down after it's fully hydrated. The VSC and Bick 4 are straight conditioners, with no cleaners like the Reno.
