Damn! Too bad I didn't know of Carmina when I was in Paris last time. However, I found these Carmina shoes in my own local store at 50% €280, what do you think?

So I've jut received this pair http://www.carmina.telemaco.es/articulo.asp?idarticulo=3687085. The only thing I was a little surprised was how thin the sole is compared to my Italian shoes such as sutor, testoni as well as my English shoes such as Alfred Sargent and C&J. After a couple wears it seems the tips are wearing out at a pretty fast rate.

edit reason: wow my english was quite engrish!

Is it possible to call Carmina and order by phone? Do I call their Head Office & Factory in Mallorca, or just a big shop in Madrid and have the shoes shipped to my country? Since their online shop do not have the shoes I want.

Just got these from the Armoury. They are on the Simpson last. Not the best picture I'm afraid.

Just got my first pair of Carmina's, they are as stiff as an ironing board and causing blisters despite the fit being right. I'm on the Simpson last with the split-toe and all I can guess is the stiching around the split toe is causing the shoe in that area to not be as flexible, that's the location I'm getting blisters.

Anyone else having these problems, are Carmina's generally hard leather ? first time I've had blisters since high school [IMG]

Are you sure the problem is hard leather and not bad fitting shoes???

The leather seems pretty soft on my shoes. I suspect you are having problems getting along with the last, which is pretty narrow.
